Robin Versteeg

Robin Versteeg was born and brought up in Balerno, Edinburgh, graduating with First Class Honours in music from the University of Edinburgh in 2002. After postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music he returned to Scotland, and developed a varied career as pianist, conductor, teacher, church musician, and examiner. Having been drawn to the mountains from a young age, Robin moved with his family to Strathspey in 2016, fulfilling a long-held ambition to live and work in the Cairngorms. Cairngorms Music now encompasses all his work, across performance, education, and consultation.
